I am deeply influenced by regret minimization framework of Jeff Bezos, the founder if Amazon.com. His idea is simple. You should never do things or do only those things so that, 10 years down the line, when you look back, you have the least number of regrets. Think about it for sometime. Think about the past 5 years in your life. What are the things that you regretted doing. What are the things that you regret not having done at all? For me, I have a lot more things that I regret having never done than having done, and ever since I read about this philosophy, my life have revolved around doing things that I know I will wish I did them, when I look back. You will at least have stories to tell your grand children. Would you rather say that you were just a boring young bloke while the grandfathers of their friends tell exciting stories that happened back in the early 2000s?
We now bring to you some of the most inspiring quotes about regret that will help reinforce this philosophy of regret minimization. Feel free to comment on your favorite regret quotes, rate other quotes or submit your own in the user section below.
